FAQ

I’m having problems right-clicking on poses using a Mac. When I right click, the thumbnails like to go floating over the page and even move themselves.

Answer: About the right mouse click on the mac: You should be able to do this in a number of ways.

The original method for right-click on a Mac is by holding Control while clicking the ‘left mouse button’, however this is causing some weird behaviour in our application. This is because the mouse-click also registers as a regular click, so we won’t recommend that.

Instead, there are some better ways depending on your setup:

  • Use a mouse that has 2 buttons (I know, a fairly obvious answer).
  • Set up the Apple mighty mouse to have a ‘right-click’.
  • If you use a trackpad, configure it to allow the 2-finger-right-click.

If you use a laptop with trackpad I can personally highly recommend the 3rd option, I use it myself when I don’t use my external mouse, and can’t work without it anymore :-)

You can find information on how to do either one of these here: http://www.macinstruct.com/node/66

Question: How do I create a new pose with “no image”? I have seen it on other people’s plans but not sure how they did it.

Answer: You can create your own Poses to use in your classplans. (At the moment, it is not possible yet to use you own images with this, however this is a feature that is coming soon).

To create your own new pose do the following:

  • Select the “Add/Edit Pose” tab.
  • Click “New Pose” (this is just above the left-hand side area with existing poses).
  • Fill out the Pose Properties (Name, Level, Position, etc).
  • Click “Submit” (at the bottom of the properties form).

You should now see your new pose (with No Image) in your left-hand side, in the panel that contains the Position you categorized your new pose into.
